Macron appeared relaxed and energised, enjoying Mumbai’s vibrant morning culture as he hit the promenade reaching Marine Drive.

Hours after French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in India during the early hours of Tuesday, he was spotted having a good time in Mumbai after he quietly slipped out of his hotel in the morning, avoiding the usual media glare, and headed straight for a jog at the city’s iconic Marine Drive.

Dressed in a simple athletic navy blue T-shirt, black shorts and running shoes, Macron can be seen running towards the Marine Drive with his security personnel maintaining a discreet distance as the curious joggers slowly realised they were sharing the promenade with the French leader.

The French President appeared to be relaxed and energised, enjoying Mumbai’s vibrant morning culture.

Marine Drive, known for its beauty and calmness, offered Macron a refreshing moment ahead of the scheduled diplomatic meetings and formal engagements.

Emmanuel Macron In India

French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday and is set to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the afternoon. The two leaders will review the progress made in the India-France strategic partnership.

Maharashtra Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis received the French leader, along with first lady Brigitte Macron, at the Mumbai airport.

“Bienvenue à Mumbai! A very warm welcome to the President of France, H.E. Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron as they arrive in Mumbai! Maharashtra welcomes you! Wishing Hon President Macron and the entire French delegation a pleasant stay and a successful visit," Fadnavis posted on X, shortly after Macron landed in Mumbai.

Deputy chief ministers Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar were also present to greet Macron.
