Employability key focus at NOU webinar

Patna: The two-day webinar on “Graduate employability”, organised by Nalanda Open University (NOU), concluded on Saturday with a call to enhance the communicative skill of undergraduate students coming out of colleges in Bihar for their absorption in different sectors.Addressing the participants, NOU vice-chancellor Ravindra Kumar said the university is committed to preparing its students in such a manner as to face the challenges of life bravely and get suitable employment on the basis of their merit. The university is striving hard to impart skill-oriented training to its students at the graduation-level itself, he said.Experts like Vidya M Aiyar, B Shadrach and Abhay Kumar Singh spoke at length about the possibilities of getting suitable employment after completion of a graduation course.Other prominent speakers included Amar Nath Pandey, Kiran Pandey, Pallavi, Sangita Kumari, Sarfaraz Alam and Aftab Ahmad.
