Several explosions were reported across southern Iran on Thursday, according to Iranian media reports, as the country entered a third day of strikes. The cause of the latest explosions remained unclear, while US officials said the American military was not currently conducting strikes in Iran.

Iran’s semi-official Mehr news agency reported explosions in several southern areas, including Bushehr, Choghadak and Konarak. It also said residents in the southern port city of Bandar Abbas reported hearing explosions.
