New Delhi: Ferrari has officially introduced is latest Ferrari HC25, its one-off supercar designed under the brand’s Special Projects division. The bespoke model has been made its public debut during the Ferrari Racing Days at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, and is based on the F8 Spider platform.

It is specially designed for the single client and developed by the Ferrari Design Studio under the leadership of the chief design officer Flavio Manzoni.

It is built on the F8 Spider, which was Ferrari’s last open-top model which is powered by non-hybrid twin-turbo V8 engine. The HC25 acts as a bridge between the styling of older mid-engined V8 Ferraris and Ferrari’s latest design direction seen on models like the Ferrari F80 and Ferrari 12Cilindri.

It gets completely redesigned bodywork with a sharper and more futuristic appearance compared to the standard F8 Spider.

It debuts with slim bespoke headlamps with vertically arranged boomerang-shaped DRLs, marking the first time Ferrari has used a vertical DRL setup on a road-going model. The rear section features slim LED taillamps, with the redesigned carbon-fiber diffuser and twin trapezoidal exhaust outlets.

Ferrari HC25 is powered by a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 720 hp and 770 Nm, coupled with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox sending power to the rear wheels. The company also claimed that the HC25 ca sprint from 0-100kmph in 2.9 seconds, that hit 200kmph in 8.2 seconds, and it can also achieve top speed of 340kmph.
