Prakasam district has several beautiful locations for filming, said film-maker Donepudi Dileep Raja, founder president of Movie Artists Association – Andhra Pradesh (MAA-A.P.) that represents more than 500 members and workers across the 24 crafts of Telugu film production.
Speaking to the media in Ongole on Tuesday (February 17, 2026), he said, “We are shooting a film at Bhairavakona, a rock-cut temple complex, carved in the 8th century by Pallava sculptors Derukothi and Srisailamuni, by removing a single hill near waterfalls that plunge from a height of 200 meters.”
He said the film unit has already visited the largest Buddhist site built in Chandavaram in the 2nd century on the banks of Gundlakamma river. They have also visited Sri Bala Tripura Sundari Devi Temple in Tripurantakam, which was built on Srichakra during Kakatiya period.
Mr. Dileep Raja said that these locations were best fit for the shooting of their film and sought permission from the Andhra Pradesh Film Development Corporation. He said that a song is being shot at Pakala, Kothapatnam, and Ramapuram beaches.
Along with him, Director Achana Srinivasa Yadav, Producer Ravuri Suresh Babu, and PRO Manchala Kishore participated in the meeting.
