New Delhi: Adobe has recently unveiled its latest AI-powered assistant within its most popular Firefly platform that enables users to edit images and videos by using conversational prompts. It is called the Firefly AI Assistant; this feature is especially designed to handle multi-step creative tasks across Adobe applications such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
This upgrade also includes the extended video and image editing capabilities, alongside support for the broader set of third-party AI models within Firefly.
Firefly AI Assistant is built around the conversational interface, where users can describe what they want to create or edit, and this system also executes those tasks across the applications such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Illustrator, and Express.
Rather than manually switching between tools, users can fully rely on the assistant to carry out multi-step workflows, such as editing visuals, by adjusting audio or preparing content for different formats. Adobe stated that the assistant maintains context across sessions, and it can carry workflows between different apps.
This assistant also includes the pre-built creative skills for the common tasks, such as retouching images or generating content for multiple platforms. Users can also customize these workflows or create their own. It can also take into account existing assets by including images, video, and brand elements to make more context-aware edits.
Adobe has also expanded its Firefly editing capabilities; the Firefly Video Editor now also includes features such as speech enhancements, noise reduction, and audio balancing, alongside controls for exposure, contrast, and color adjustments.
Latest tools include Precision Flow, which enables users to generate multiple variations from a single prompt, and AI Markup, which also allows users to focus more on edits by using brush or selection tools. Firefly also continues to support a growing set of AI models, with additions of Kling 3.0 and Kling 3.0 Omni models.
