First title match confirmed for WWE Evolution 2025

WWE is bringing back the historic night for its female talent for the second time, i.e., WWE Evolution. The all-women's Premium Live Event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

It will feature superstars from RAW, SmackDown, and NXT competing at this significant show, with expectations of legendary female stars also returning for one night. With the road to Evolution continuing in full force, the first match for the show has been confirmed.

Which was the first match made official for WWE Evolution 2025?

On the June 25th edition of WWE NXT, four participants competed in a Fatal 4-Way match after winning their respective Eliminator matches. Jaida Parker defeated Thea Hail, Lash Legend defeated Kelani Jordan, Izzy Dame picked up the win over Zaria, following a distraction by Tatum Paxley, and lastly, Jordynne Grace outlasted Lola Vice in her qualifier bout. The stage was set for these four women to compete in a huge four-way match with an opportunity to challenge for the NXT Women's Championship. The match took place in the main event of the show and was a highly explosive bout. All competitors attempted to establish dominance in the ring, delivering powerful moves and impressive spots. Moreover, Jordynne Grace was the prime highlight who nailed her opponents with Powerbombs.

As the match approached its final moments, The Juggernaut delivered a Torture Rack Bomb on Lash Legend to score the pinfall and win the match. With her huge victory, Jordynne Grace has now become the No.1 contender for the NXT Women's Championship. She will face the reigning champion, Jacy Jayne, who began her title reign a few weeks ago, defeating the incomparable Stephanie Vaquer. Moreover, she has a wall of protection around her with her Fatal Influence cohorts, Jazmyn Nyx and Fallon Henley.

As for Jordynne Grace, this will be her first major opportunity after officially signing with WWE. She had previously competed for the NXT Women's title, but was unsuccessful. It remains to be seen whether the former TNA star will be able to get the job done this time on one of the most important nights for women in WWE.Also read: Major WWE Night of Champions 2025 Title Match Cancelled
