US President Donald Trump has once again referred to the idea of serving a third term. He said, “So in my first year of the second term, should be my third term. But strange things happen."
Trump lost the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden. Under the 22nd Amendment of the US Constitution, a president is limited to two terms in office. He has previously spoken about the idea of a third term, although he acknowledged last year that he is “pretty clear I’m not allowed to run."
In his latest remark, the President has hinted to a third term at office, despite the constitutional limit preventing any US president from serving more than two terms.
