Mumbai: Leading food processing and fruit pulp exporter Foods & Inns Limited has announced its audited financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. The company has witnessed a 16% decline in profits from ₹ 23 crore in Q4 FY25 to ₹19 crore this time, even though the profit margin has improved to 6.6% from 5.8% reported from the same period last year, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The war in the Middle East has impacted cash flows, with realizations declining by 25.3% year on year, even as the demand for its flagship mango pulp business remains affected, as access to the Middle Eastern markets remains constrained. The frozen food business witnessed a rising demand, with volumes increasing 26% during the year, even as exports for various products remained affected.
Managing Input Costs and Focusing on Value-Added Products
Despite the challenges in the international market, Foods and Inns has managed to stabalize its domestic operations thanks to steady B2B demand for fruit purees, concentrates, and spray-dried fruit powders from leading beverage and confectionery brands.
The company is looking to adjust its product strategy to focus more on high-margin and value-added products with longer shelf lives as it aims to mitigate risks from sudden changes in global shipping costs due to geopolitical events.

| Parameter | Q4 FY26 | Q4 FY25 | Year-on-Year (YoY) Change (%) | Core Operational Catalysts |
| Total Revenue from Operations | ₹294 crore | ₹400 crore | Down 26% | Impacted by lower export sales volumes due to container shortages and shipping disruptions in the Middle East. |
| Profit Before Tax (PBT) | ₹28 crore | ₹30 crore | Down 10% | Pressured by a drop in high-margin export volumes and reduced operating leverage across processing facilities. |
| Profit After Tax (PAT / Net Profit) | ₹19 crore | ₹23 crore | Down 16.00% | Decreased due to lower international sales volumes, though the decline was partially offset by steady performance in the domestic market. |
