Mrunal Thakur is celebrating a decade since she first stepped onto a film set. The actress marked the milestone by revisiting her debut film, Love Sonia, and sharing a heartfelt message with fans.

Taking to social media on March 19, she posted a poster from the film and reflected on her journey in the industry.

In her post, Mrunal Thakur shared a deeply personal message about her beginnings. She wrote, “Ten years ago today… I stepped onto a film set for the very first time. A dream, a beginning, a life I never imagined. Forever grateful."

Deleted scenes to be released on YouTube

As part of the celebration, Mrunal Thakur announced a special release for fans.

She revealed that never-before-seen deleted scenes from Love Sonia will be made available online. She shared, “In 24 hrs for the first time, we will be releasing nine never-before-seen deleted scenes from Love Sonia. Premiere at 10 am IST Friday on YouTube."

A powerful story

Directed by Tabrez Noorani, 'Love Sonia' was released in 2018 after going into production in 2016. Inspired by real-life events, the film follows Sonia’s journey as she tries to rescue her sister, Preeti, who was sold into international sex trafficking. The story takes a dark turn when Sonia herself gets trapped in the system.Apart from Mrunal Thakur, the film also featured Riya Sisodiya, Freida Pinto, and Demi Moore in key roles.
