India defeated Pakistan by 61 runs in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in Colombo, with Ishan Kishan scoring 77.

Congratulating the team, Shah praised the Men in Blue for yet another victory in one of cricket’s fiercest rivalries.

Cabinet Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda also lauded the side, calling it a “memorable victory" built on teamwork, determination and skill.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu congratulated Team India on what he described as a fantastic win, highlighting the batting display and wishing the squad continued momentum in the tournament.
