However, he warned that if Makhachev manages to secure a takedown, the fight could quickly become extremely difficult for Topuria.Masvidal suggested that Makhachev’s grappling ability is on a completely different level compared to most fighters. He pointed out that Topuria might have faster hands and the ability to knock opponents out, but dealing with Makhachev’s wrestling is a very different challenge.Masvidal said that he could imagine two possible outcomes. One scenario is Makhachev taking Topuria down and forcing him into a long and exhausting fight on the ground.
