As Daron Lee faces first degree murder charges for the death of his girlfriend, it is now being reported that he initially lied to authorities.

Darron Lee reportedly lied to first responders when his girlfriend was found dead at their rented home

According to a recent report by News Channel 9, as per the arrest affidavit, investigators working on the case have revealed that first responders responded to what they assumed to be a CPR in progress at Darron Lee’s rented home in Tennessee.

As soon as the authorities arrived, the woman was found dead. While the first responders found her body full of serious injuries, the former NFL player reiterated that she had fallen down in the shower and ended up seriously injuring herself/However, the bloodied house soon made it clear that a lot of horrifying things happened at Darron Lee’s rented home, which resulted in his girlfriend’s death.The former New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs player was soon arrested and was recently denied bail.In court, the Hamilton County district attorney Coty Wamp said, “Mr Lee was in a home with a female that was, for lack of a better term, beaten to death…”The district attorney added, “And the explanation that he gave doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.”

While Darron Lee faces first degree murder charges, his late girlfriend’s family have also sued him for a whooping $50 million.

The young woman’s family has spoken out about her gruesome death and how traumatic it has been for the family.However, despite all the strong accusations, neither the former NFL player Darron Lee nor his legal team has made any statements in public yet.To make matters worse, in 2023, Darron Lee was also involved in two separate domestic violence incidents against two different women.In June 2023, Darron Lee skipped court dates and was issued to be arrested but no public information is available on what happened after that.
