Twisha Sharma and her husband Samarth Singh
A newly surfaced wedding teaser video of Noida resident Twisha Sharma and her husband, Samarth Singh, has drawn intense public scrutiny amid an ongoing dowry death investigation into her tragic demise at her matrimonial home in Bhopal. The video has added a poignant layer to a case that has sparked a massive controversy and a bitter fallout between the two families.
The five-and-a-half-minute cinematic video, shot with soft portrait lighting and a pronounced bokeh effect, captures numerous celebratory moments. Throughout the footage, Sharma and Singh speak candidly about their relationship, reflecting a seemingly deep bond. The couple tied the knot in December 2025 after dating for nearly a year.
In one notable segment, Twisha's brother, Harshit Sharma, remarks, “You can only cherish love if you have some hatred towards each other. The next frame shows the couple sharing a warm embrace as they prepare to embark on their married life with a voice saying, "We were sworn enemies at one point."
The affectionate exchanges and lighthearted reflections in the video depict a strong romantic connection, offering no hint of the tragedy that would unfold just five months later. Today, Sharma is deceased, having been found hanging from an exercise rod at her Bhopal residence. Singh remains at large as law enforcement officials continue their dowry death probe against him and his family members.
JIJU MIGHT BE A LAWYER, BUT TWISHA IS THE JUDGE AT HOME
Other than Twisha and Samarth, a lot of their friends, relatives, and family members were also seen talking about them in a light-hearted manner.
In one such frame, a relative of Twisha said, “Jiju lawyer honge court me, ghar me to judge Twisha hi hain (Brother-in-law might be a lawyer in court, but at home it is Twisha who is the boss), reiterating the age-old notion that women are the real bosses at home.
Another relative of Twisha spoke about how excited she was after coming across Samarth’s profile for the first time on the dating app. “Look at this guy, he seems interesting. He is well-spoken, and his photos and videos are good,” said that person.
The wit, the charm, and the celebrations that were captured in the video lasted for only five months. After Twisha’s death, both families are at each other’s throats. Twisha’s mother-in-law, Giribala Singh, made some derogatory remarks about the victim’s mental health while the victim’s family accused her in-laws of mental harassment over dowry claims.
