Fujifilm X-T30 III launched in India with 6.2K video, film simulation dial at Rs 1,02,999

Fujifilm's new X-T30 III arrives in India, boasting significant video upgrades like 6.2K/30P internal recording and 4K/60fps. Powered by the X-Processor 5, it features advanced AI-driven autofocus for various subjects. A new Film Simulation dial offers 20 creative profiles, with custom slots for unique looks. This compact, lightweight hybrid camera also supports direct wireless printing.

Fujifilm has launched the X-T30 III in India, a compact hybrid camera that pairs the company's photography-first DNA with a serious bump in video capability. The body-only price is Rs 1,02,999, while the kit with a 13-33mm lens comes in at Rs 1,19,999.The headline upgrade here is video. The X-T30 III can record 6.2K/30P Open Gate footage internally in 4:2:2 10-bit colour—using the full 3:2 sensor area, which means you can crop for both widescreen and vertical formats without losing detail. It also does 4K at 60fps and 1080p at a blistering 240fps for slow-motion work. Under the hood, it runs the 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor with the newer X-Processor 5, which Fujifilm says processes images twice as fast as the X-T30 II.

The autofocus system now uses deep learning to track not just faces and eyes but also animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, and—oddly specifically—insects and drones. The camera also gets direct wireless printing support for Fujifilm's instax Link series. The most tactile new addition is a physical Film Simulation dial on the top plate. It lets you flip through 20 colour profiles on the fly, including the popular REALA ACE for natural tones and Nostalgic Neg. for that warm, cinematic look. Three customisable slots (FS1 to FS3) let creators save their own recipes and recall them instantly—handy for anyone who's built a signature editing style and wants it baked into the camera.Design-wise, Fujifilm has kept things classic: centre-mounted viewfinder, tilting rear LCD, and a compact body built for all-day shoots. The camera weighs 378g, and comes in three colours: black, silver, and charcoal silver.
