Ahead of the Indiana Pacers vs Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, Giannis Antetokounmpo appeared courtside with his family, including his wife Mariah Riddlesprigger, kids, and mom, Veronica Antetokounmpo.

His brother, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, who also plays for the Bucks, showered praise for Giannis joining Bobby Portis.Giannis acknowledged the gesture and shook hands with both players for their heartwarming messages. Giannis has been a cornerstone for the Bucks, who has delivered his A-games, maintaining the consistency almost every time he is on the court. While trade chatter has created hype ahead of the deadline, Giannis and the Bucks stayed together.

Now, as the Greek Freak is heading to the All-Star event, his teammates’ messages were aimed at encouraging the superstar.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, who appeared courtside and then approached his brother and Bobby Portis to shake hands, gets a heartwarming gesture of appreciation. “Today we wanna congratulate teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo on becoming an All-Star,” Portis said at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, adding, “appreciate you all you doing for the city, for the team, for your family bro, congrats man, deserved.”

“I’m not done,” Thanasis said, “hey, thank you guys so much for your support.”Thanasis then addressed his brother, “I just wanted to tell you, I’m proud of you the team is proud of you, everybody is proud of you, our family is proud of you, don’t stop."

The All-Star selection marked Antetokounmpo’s 10th consecutive appearance and start, the longest active streak in the league. He finished second in fan voting this season, narrowly trailing Luka Dončić, after leading the league in votes the previous two years.Earlier this season, Antetokounmpo reflected on a long-held goal that dated back to his rookie year. “But I always, one of my goals as a player was to be a 10-time all-star, and I’m very happy I accomplished it,” he said publicly. On top of that, he recently became one of the youngest players to reach 21,000 points.

Antetokounmpo is focused on the road ahead. “I want to thank everybody that has helped me on the journey. I want to thank God for keeping me healthy, for keeping me hungry, for protecting me throughout this journey. It’s been incredible. But, it doesn’t stop here. There’s more to go. There’s more to go. I can’t wait for whatever chapter is next.”Bucks coach Doc Rivers highlighted Antetokounmpo’s reach. “He’s huge,” Rivers said. “Not only here, but around the world.”Giannis is currently averaging 28 points per game, 10 rebounds, and 5.6 assists.
