New Delhi: Google has recently announced its latest way to browse the web with AI Mode in the Chrome browser. This latest upgrade will enable users to explore websites and interact with AI simultaneously without switching between tabs.
This latest feature includes the ability to open web pages side by side with the AI Mode interface, and it also has an option to include multiple tabs, images, and files in queries. This actually means that when users click on the link, it will appear next to AI Mode rather than replacing their current view.
Then it will result in users being able to read content, compare information, and ask follow-up questions without losing any original context. AI will use both the webpage and broader web data to offer answers, by helping users make quicker decisions.
The company is also adding the ability to search across multiple open tabs. Users can select the tabs, images, or files like PDFs and include them in their AI queries.
This will enable more context-aware responses without needing to switch between sources manually. The company stated that early experimenters said that these features would reduce the need for constant tab switching and help users stay focused on their work.
By combining search and browsing into one view, Google stated that it is focusing on making information discovery more efficient and easier to manage within Chrome.
