The government has decided to fill vacancies in hospitals falling under the purview of the Directorate of Secondary Health (DSH), through appointment of 238 doctors in Community Health Centres (CHCs), Area Hospitals and District Hospitals.
Minister for Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Satya Kumar Yadav approved these appointments on Friday, after having discussions with Director of Secondary Health K.V.N. Chakradhar Babu. These 238 doctors would be appointed on a one-year contract basis, a press release said, the government decided to carry out these appointments through District Selection Committees (DSCs), functioning under the supervision of the District Collectors.
