Great Thunberg, a 22-year-old Swedish activist has been making headlines recently with her rising support for Gaza. The activist turned protestor was recently found aboard a Gaza-bound charity ship, Madleen, operated by the pro-Palestinian Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC).
The Israeli troops intercepted the ship and deported all the 12 passengers to their respective countries. Now, a new mission seems to have taken up the young activist's mind, particularly love. Thunberg has struck up a close friendship with a young photographer who has been her constant companion in her recent demonstrations.Chris Kebbon, 22, rushed to give Thunberg a lingering hug when she returned to the Stockholm Airport on Tuesday after being arrested and deported by the Israeli authorities. The long-haired photographer and videographer has been spotted by the activist's side for almost 18 months now, Daily mail reported, and the duo was spotted swimming together in the sea off Catania, Sicily with a group before she set sail in the ship to Gaza.Kebbon, like Thunberg, lives in a middle-class suburb of Stockholm, Sweden. He is a skilled surfer who claimed online that he has lived in Syria, Lebanon and Morocco with his family.

When Thunberg arrived back in Stockholm, Chris, dressed in a green Palestinian Keffiyeh, ran forward to give her a lingering hug as soon as she came into sight at the Arlanda Airport. After a few exchanged words, he ushered her towards the exit protecting her from her supporters rallying around. He was also her co-defendant at the Westminster Magistrates' Court in February 2024 where they were cleared of a public order offence after protesting outside a London hotel where the Energy Intelligence Forum was hosting oil and gas industry leaders.Kebbon told a Swedish newspaper Vi, after the two were arrested in London that his parents didn't sleep back home in Stockholm when they heard nothing of him. Adding, that he thought that having seen the news of Greta's arrest they should have put two and two together to realise that the same had happened to him.He even posted some shots of Thunberg on Instagram writing, 'last calm moments together before departure filled with love, care and silly moments.'According to his online CV, he attended the prestigious Lycée Français St-Louis in Stockholm for film and photography. He is also a long-term member of Thunberg's Fridays for Future movement and regularly demonstrates with others in the Mynttorget, a nearby public square. He was also a part of the spontaneous demonstration that protested Thunberg and other ship passengers' arrest by Israeli authorities. However, Greta and Chris have not confirmed about this.
