Hatsun loses cases against Patanjali over Aarogya biscuits

The Madras High Court, on Tuesday (April 21, 2026), dismissed a case filed by Hatsun Agro Product Limited, the owners of the popular dairy brand ‘Arokya’, to restrain Patanjali Biscuits Private Limited from selling biscuits under the brand name ‘Patanjali Aarogya’.

A Division Bench of Justices P. Velmurugan and K. Govindarajan Thilakavadi rejected an original side appeal filed by Hatsun in 2020 against the summary dismissal of its trademark infringement suit, against Patanjali, by a single judge of the High Court on February 7, 2020.
