HC to pronounce order on Khera’s anticipatory bail petition

The Telangana High Court will pronounce its order today (Friday) in the anticipatory bail petition filed by the Delhi-based Congress leader Pawan Khera in the criminal case registered by the Assam police against him.

On Wednesday, Justice K. Sujana of the Telangana High Court reserved orders in the criminal petition filed by Khera seeking anticipatory bail after hearing contentions of both sides. While Supreme Court senior counsel Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Telangana HC senior counsel A. Ravinder Reddy appeared for the Congress leader, the Gauhati HC Advocate General Devajit Saikia appeared for Assam police.
