The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall alert for five Telangana districts for Friday (July 3, 2026).

According to IMDs latest bulletin, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal and Nizamabad districts.

Forecast for 20 districts

Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.

Hyderabad weather forecast

Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a generally cloudy sky. “Light rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in the city towards evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 31℃ and 25℃ respectively,” the bulletin said.
