Heavy rainfall forecast in nine Telangana districts on July 5

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall forecast in nine Telangana districts for Sunday (July 5, 2026).

According to IMDs latest bulletin, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts.

Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and strong surface winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli and Jayashankar Bhupalpally districts. Strong surface winds are very likely to prevail in the remaining districts.

Hyderabad weather forecast

Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a generally cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in the city. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 29℃ and 23℃ respectively,” as per the bulletin.
