Hema Malini set for first live singing performance; Veteran actress to take centre stage at Diamond Jubilee concert- REPORT

Hema Malini is preparing to add another memorable milestone to her long journey in the entertainment industry. The veteran actress and Member of Parliament has spent more than six decades in cinema and is now set to enter a new creative space.

Hema Malini will soon make her live singing debut through a special musical event reportedly.

Hema Malini to step into live singing

As reported by News 18, the veteran actress will appear on stage as a singer for the first time during ‘The Dream Girl’s Diamond Jubilee Concert’. The event has been planned as a charity initiative in support of CINTAA, also known as the Cine & TV Artistes' Association. The concert has been conceptualised around the theme ‘Legends Ki Kahani, Legends Ki Zubaani’.

The event is scheduled to take place in Mumbai on July 10.

For the first time, audiences will witness important moments from Hema Malini's film journey being recreated on stage through songs and memories.

Surprise segment planned for audience

Apart from singing songs connected to her films, the actress is also expected to perform a surprise number during the concluding portion of the event. The organisers have planned a musical journey that will travel through different milestones from her life.

The concert will also feature a live orchestra consisting of 15 musicians who will accompany the performances throughout the evening. Ahead of the event, a press conference was recently organised at the CINTAA office.

Several personalities from the film and music industry attended the gathering. Among those present were Suresh Wadkar, Shabbir Kumar, Anu Malik, Poonam Dhillon, Padmini Kolhapure, RJ Anirudh Chawla, and Vijeyta Pandit. Hema Malini has continued to remain active in public life while also maintaining her connection with cinema.On the work front, the actress was last seen in 'Shimla Mirchi'.
