US President Donald Trump reacted on Truth Social to reports of drones crossing into Polish territory, writing, “What’s with Russia violating Poland’s airspace with drones? Here we go!"

Donald Trump’s comments came after Poland said seven drones and debris of an unidentified object were discovered across its territory following overnight airspace incursions. The incidents triggered a security alert and drew strong reactions from Warsaw and European leaders.

Poland Warns Of Danger

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk told parliament that the country was facing its most perilous moment since World War Two. He said, “I have no reason to claim we’re on the brink of war, but a line has been crossed, and it’s incomparably more dangerous than before. This situation brings us the closest we have been to open conflict since World War Two."

Five drones and debris were found in Lublin province, near the border with Belarus and Ukraine while two more were discovered deeper inside Poland- one in Mniszkow and another near Elbląg close to the Baltic coast.

Kremlin Denies Role

The Kremlin rejected accusations that Russia was responsible as spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, “We consider the accusations groundless. No evidence has been presented that these drones are of Russian origin."

He added that EU and NATO leadership “accuse Russia of provocation almost daily, most often without even attempting to provide any justification."

Europe Condemns Drone Attacks

The incursions provoked strong condemnation across Europe as French President Emmanuel Macron called the incident “simply unacceptable," while European Council President Antonio Costa said Europe must step up defence investment against Russia’s “reckless" actions. Leaders from the Czech Republic, Finland and Latvia also accused Moscow of escalating tensions by systematically testing NATO’s resolve.
