New Delhi: HMD has recently unveiled its latest Vibe2 5G device in India, and sales have started on May 26. The main highlight of this device is that it brings AI-powered features to the budget device segment. This is the first device that gets Indus by Sarvam AI integration. It is priced at Rs 10,999 for the base variant. It is available in three color options: Cosmic Lavender, Nordic Blue, Peach Pink.
It features a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with a 50MP Dual AI rear camera setup. The camera is specially designed to capture balanced shots across different lighting conditions. On the front, it has an 8MP main camera sensor for selfies and video calling.
It is housed with a massive 6,000mAh battery, and it comes with an 18W charger inside the box with the device. It is powered by the octa-core processor; the HMD Vibe2 device supports 5G connectivity and comes with AI-based features via Indus by Sarvam AI integration.
Sarvam AI is an Indian AI startup aimed at building large language models, and AI tools are specially designed for Indian languages and users. It develops multilingual AI systems that support text, voice, translation, and conversation features across some Indian languages.
Indus supports voice and text interactions, and it is built to understand better Indian languages, accents, and code-mixed conversations such as Hinglish. It carries IP64-rated water and dust resistance; it runs on Android 16.
