Hostinger launched a frictionless ecommerce platform aimed at strengthening its 1 million-strong customer base in India – offering sellers a commerce backend that exists outside any single platform.

VILNIUS, Lithuania (India CSR) — Hostinger today launched an ecommerce platform for small businesses that sell across multiple channels – website, social media, messaging apps – but currently have no backend they own. The product gives sellers a single system for inventory, orders, payments, shipping, and customer data that connects to any sales channel without rebuilding when channels change.

The launch comes at a time when India’s small businesses are increasingly selling across websites, social media and messaging platforms. While these channels have expanded customer reach, many businesses still lack ownership of their commerce infrastructure, customer data and operations. It also describes the structural risk: a business built inside a platform it doesn’t own is one policy change away from losing everything it built. Hostinger Ecommerce addresses this challenge by providing merchants with a single platform to manage and grow their business across channels.

India CSR

“Commerce is moving from simple stores to ecosystems, where people discover products across channels and AI agents increasingly help them choose, compare, and buy. For small sellers, the opportunity is huge, but only if their business can move as fast as their customers do. They should not have to guess which channel will matter next. They should be able to focus on growing their business, while providers like Hostinger Ecommerce build the future-ready infrastructure around them.” – Auksė Žirgulė, Head of Hostinger Website Builder and Ecommerce

Hostinger Ecommerce gives these sellers a way to own that foundation. They start by defining their business, then connect to any combination of sales channels from a single dashboard. A standout feature at launch is Quick Links: users upload product photos, and Hostinger’s AI creates product pages with full descriptions, key details, and even a suggested price. From there, they can easily connect a payment method and share the product link anywhere their customers already are. Each link works out of the box with the essentials included: cart, checkout, payments, shipping, and store management. No website needed.

At the center of the experience is Kodee, Hostinger’s AI support agent, which helps merchants set up,manage,e and optimize their online stores through simple conversations. From onboarding and product management to SEO improvements and promotions, Kodee simplifies day-to-day ecommerce operations, enabling small businesses to focus on growth.

The pricing reflects who the product is built for. Hostinger charges zero transaction fees on ecommerce sales in India, with hosting starting at ₹249 per month.

Hostinger has been building toward this market for over a decade. The company counted 1,629 customers in India in 2014 and crossed 1 million in May 2026, making India its largest single market globally and accounting for nearly 20% of its 5 million global customers. Supporting this growth is Hostinger’s expanding infrastructure, including its Mumbai data centre, which delivers improved performance for Indian users.

Indian side-business owners are also among the fastest adopters of AI tools globally – 91% now use them, against 62% in the United States, according to a Hostinger survey of 4,002 respondents conducted in January 2026.
