HR&CE Department invites applications for appointment of non-hereditary trustees in 214 Tamil Nadu temples

Seeking to ensure transparency in the appointment of non-hereditary trustees for 214 temples under its control in Tamil Nadu, the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department has issued a notification inviting applications. The temples include the Palani Dhandayuthapani Temple and the Samayapuram Mariamman Temple.

According to the notification, those interested in applying for the posts should submit their applications along with the required documents before 5.45 p.m. on July 22, 2026. The eligibility criteria have been published on the department’s website.

Applications, along with the necessary documents, may be uploaded online. They may also be submitted in person or sent by Speed Post.
