City star Rayan Cherki was spotted swapping jerseys with Liverpool counterpart Hugo Ekitike and donning it while on the bench before being reminded to change.

Premier League giants Manchester City crushed Liverpool 4-0 in the FA Cup encounter between the sides on Saturday at the Emirates in a thorough decimation job as Pep Guardiola and Co. kicked Arne Slot’s Reds’ out of the cup contest.

City star Rayan Cherki was spotted swapping jerseys with Liverpool counterpart Hugo Ekitike and donning it while on the bench before being reminded to change.

City superstar Erling Haaland took the match ball home with a hattrick, while Antoine Semenyo added the other in a rout of the Reds from Merseyside.

Haaland opened the scoring in the 39th minute of the game as he made no mistake from the spot to send Guardiola’s men into celebration before doubling the side’s joy in the second minute of first-half added time.

City took a two goal lead into the break and multiplied it in the second essay as Semenyo popped up with a strike five minute following resumption, while Haaland completed his hattrick seven minutes later.

Cherki was subbed off after 72 minutes in favour of Tijjani Reijnders as City had sealed the victory by then.
