Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad on Friday (April 10, 2026) unveiled ‘Hyderabad Streat’, a new culinary destination inside the domestic departure terminal designed to offer travellers an experience of Telangana’s food culture. The initiative aims to recreate the sights, aromas and flavours associated with Hyderabad’s street food scene within the airport environment. The restaurant is located in the domestic departures sector.

Conceived as a tribute to the city’s rich culinary heritage, the space offers a wide-ranging menu that mirrors the progression of a typical Hyderabadi day. “When a traveller steps into Hyderabad Streat, we want them to feel the city: the sizzle of the tawa, the warmth of hot chai, the heady fragrance of slow-cooked biryani,” said Pradeep Panicker, CEO, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited.
