Hyderabad Horror: Man Hit, Dragged Nearly 1 Km By Car After Argument With Two Youths; 2 Arrested

Victim Satish Kumar suffered serious injuries to his stomach and limbs. He was rushed to hospital, where doctors performed surgery.

A horrific accident was reported from the Kushaiguda police station limits in Hyderabad on February 9, where a private employee was allegedly hit and dragged by a car for nearly a kilometre.

The victim, Satish Kumar, a resident of Charlapally, was returning home from work in Banjara Hills. He was travelling in a car with his friends when two youths allegedly rammed their vehicle.

After the collision, the accused reportedly drove away with a siren on and stopped at a traffic signal. Satish Kumar got out of the car and questioned them.

During the argument, the youths allegedly hit Satish Kumar with their car, causing him to fall on the road. Police said the vehicle then dragged him for some distance, with part of the bumper and number plate getting stuck.

The car continued moving for nearly a kilometre before stopping.

Following a complaint by Satish Kumar’s friend, Kushaiguda police registered a case and arrested two accused in connection with the incident.

Family members of the victim have demanded strict punishment for those responsible.
