Hyderabad receives rain on September 10 afternoon

After a break, parts of Hyderabad received a short spell of rain on Wednesday (September 10, 2025) afternoon. India Meteorological Centre, Hyderabad issued a weather alert around 2.00 p.m. forecasting light to moderate rain or thundershowers likely to continue in some parts of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) area during next 2 hours.”

In its bulletin issued in the afternoon, it has forecast heavy rainfall very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Rajanna Sirisilla, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mahabubabad, Siddipet, Medak and Kamareddy on Wednesday. 

 “Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) are very likely to occur at isolated places in all districts,” according to the bulletin.
