PITCH REPORT - Niall O'Brien is pitchside. Shares that it is nice and sunny with the maximum temperature expected to touch 32 degrees. Says that the outfield looks outstanding and we are on pitch number three. Tino Mawayo joins him, and he calls the strip an absolute belter. Informs that historically, pitch three has been the best of the lot here. Tino observes a nice and even covering of thin grass. He spots a few cracks and says that the surface is dry, but everything points towards this being a proper batting surface.
Competition for semi-final slots is fierce, as only two teams from each Super Six group can advance. Group 2 also features India, England, Zimbabwe, and Bangladesh.

The skipper of Pakistan - Farhan Yousaf says the pitch looks good for the bowlers and wants his attack to make the most of the conditions on offer. He adds that the boys have been doing really well as a unit, with a special mention for the fielding effort, which he feels has been outstanding. Farhan says he is proud of the way the team has gone about its work so far. Informs that they have made one change with Mohammad Shayan coming in for Ali Hasan Baloch.
