The national capital on Thursday (April 23, 2026) recorded a minimum temperature of 25.4°C, 2.7 notches above the season's average, according to the India Meteorological Department.

The weather office has forecast a heatwave for Thursday (April 23, 2026), Friday (April 24, 2026) and Saturday (April 25, 2026), with the maximum temperature expected to settle around the 42°C mark.
