PM Modi’s address will be followed by keynote presentations by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Google DeepMind CEO Dennis Hassabis, and Reliance Industries Limited, chairman and managing director, Mukesh Ambani.

Earlier, Organisers of the AI Impact Summit ousted privateGalgotias University’s stall from the expo after it exhibited a China-made robodog as their in-house innovation, government officials said on Wednesday (February 18, 2026). “We don’t want unnecessary controversy that threatens to overshadow the good work other exhibitors are doing,” IT Secretary S. Krishnan said at a press conference. “There needs to be adherence to some code so that inauthentic behaviour is not promoted.”

The AI Impact Summit’s expo has been extended by one day, to Saturday (February 21, 2026), so that attendees can visit with more flexible security arrangements after all the multilateral events at the venue wind up, said Mr. Krishnan.
