The Ministry of External Affairs has summoned the United States' Charge d'Affaires and lodged a strong protest over a strike on a vessel off the coast of Oman carrying Indian nationals. Out of the twenty-four Indian crew members on board the vessel, twenty-one have been rescued successfully, while three Indian nationals remain missing. The Indian Embassy in Oman is closely monitoring the situation and actively coordinating search and rescue operations with the local Omani authorities. This diplomatic move comes amid heightened fragility in the region, with India seeking crucial answers from the United States regarding the attack.
