'India-US Trade Deal Very Close': White House Spokesperson Says Agreements On Final Stage

The White House has confirmed a trade deal between India and the US was in talks. The secretary also stressed the strength of ties between President Trump and Prime Minister Modi.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Monday that the trade deal between India and the United States was close to being finalised and that a formal announcement in this regard would be made soon.

Leavitt also said that US President Donald Trump has very good relations with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and that the same would continue.
