A joint operation by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday foiled an exfiltration bid in the Uri sector of Baramulla district, leading to the apprehension of three individuals.
According to the Army’s Chinar Corps, the operation was launched in the Uri area following specific intelligence inputs. During the search operation, alert troops intercepted two men from Sopore who were allegedly attempting to exfiltrate from the area with hostile intentions. Their local guide was also apprehended during the operation.

In a post on X, the Chinar Corps said the suspects were apprehended by vigilant troops during the intelligence-led operation. The Army said further investigations are underway.
