New Delhi: Instagram has recently unveiled its latest Instants application globally. And now they have introduced the latest photo-capturing feature, which is geared toward Gen Z users. This enables users to capture and share unpolished moments that can only be viewed once with a select group of followers.
Similar to Instagram’s Stories feature, which enables users to post photos or videos that last 24 hours on their accounts, Instants offers a temporary option to share photos without filters, text, or stickers to their Close Friends or mutuals.
Instants functions similarly to Snapchat: once another user opens and views an Instants photo, it cannot be viewed again. It enables users to share unfiltered photos with the selected group, which is created by the users for a limited time.
To delete an Instant’s photo, tap the Undo button that appears right after snapping the photo. Or tap the collage icon in the top-left corner and press and hold the photo users want to delete.
Instants are intended for a smaller batch of users’ followers; a collection of Instant photos can be grouped within the feature and then shared to one’s Stories. Users will be able to differentiate traditional Stories posts from Instants, as the latter will look like film reel videos.
