Apple's biggest event of 2025 has concluded, and with it came the unveiling of the new iPhone 17 series and the ultra-thin iPhone Air. While these new models will come with the latest iOS 26 software pre-installed, older iPhones will get the new operating system via a public release on September 15.

Apple has also released the Release Candidate (RC) version of iOS 26 to beta testers, which is the final pre-release version of the software before the official rollout.

When iOS 26 will release for iPhones

Apple will roll out the iOS 26 on September 15 this year. All compatible iPhones will get the update at around 10:30 pm.
