Sources told CNN-News18 that Araghchi brought a fresh message from Tehran, in response to the stalled peace talks with the US.

Pakistan's Army Chief and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir (R) meeting with Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi returned to Pakistan on Sunday after a brief visit to Oman, having just left Islamabad the day before. Sources told CNN-News18 that Araghchi brought a fresh message from Tehran, in response to the stalled peace talks with the United States.
Araghchi had arrived in Pakistan in the early evening, a country that has played a key role as a mediator in ongoing diplomatic efforts to end the war in Iran.
Iranian state media, Tasnim News Agency, reported that Araghchi is expected to hold another round of consultations with Pakistani authorities regarding the “latest regional developments" and to convey Tehran’s views on the ceasefire with the US.
Earlier, Tasnim also reported that part of Araghchi’s delegation had returned to Tehran for internal consultations but is expected to rejoin him in Islamabad.

The primary objective of the ongoing diplomatic shuttling is to secure strong regional assurances, particularly on security guarantees and potential sanctions relief.
Top intelligence sources told CNN-News18 that the high level diplomatic shuttling comes during escalating tensions in the region and growing international pressure on Tehran over its nuclear program.
“Araghchi is seeking concrete assurances from key regional players regarding security and sanctions relief," the source added.
Pakistani officials are believed to be playing a facilitating role in bridging communication between Iran and other stakeholders. Araghchi’s next destination will be Moscow, where further coordination with Russian officials on regional security and diplomatic efforts is expected to take place.
