Kamal Kharazi, Iran’s Foreign Policy Advisor, declared no room for diplomacy with the US due to Trump's past deceptions.

Kamal Kharazi, Foreign Policy Advisor to the office of Iran’s Supreme Leader, said on Monday that he believes there is “no room for diplomacy anymore" in the ongoing conflict with the United States and its allies.
Kharazi, one of the country’s most senior foreign policy officials, attributed this stance to repeated experiences in past negotiations, saying, “Because Donald Trump had been deceiving others and not keeping with his promises, and we experienced this in two times of negotiations — that while we were engaged in negotiation, they struck us."
Kharazi also signaled Tehran’s readiness to endure a protracted conflict, suggesting only sustained economic pressure might ultimately force a shift in the war’s dynamics.
He said, “There’s no room unless the economic pressure would be built up… and therefore others have no choice (but) to intervene to guarantee (the) termination of aggression…" and noted that “this war has been producing a lot of pressure… and therefore others have no choice (but) to intervene."
Meanwhile, Brigadier General Sardar Ebrahim Jabbari, an advisor to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), warned that Iran is ready for a prolonged confrontation with the United States, stating, “As someone who is informed, I say this: we are prepared for ten years of war with the United States — at least ten years."
His remarks underscore Tehran’s commitment to a long-term strategic stance amid rising tensions and signal the regime’s readiness to sustain a protracted conflict if necessary.
Tensions between Iran and the United States–Israel alliance are sharply escalating into a broader regional war, marked by joint U.S. and Israeli strikes deep inside Iranian territory, including attacks on key infrastructure and energy sites.
Since the conflict began with coordinated air operations late last month, Iran has retaliated with waves of missile and drone attacks across the Gulf region, targeting U.S. military bases, allied countries and critical facilities, raising fears of wider instability and a prolonged confrontation.
