Iranian media published a list of major bridges across the Gulf on Thursday, signalling a “tit-for-tat" retaliation following the deadly strikes on Karaj’s iconic B1 bridge, Anadolu reports.
According to the semi-official Fars news agency, several bridges in the Gulf could be possible targets after the U.S.-Israeli strikes hit the B1 bridge, causing it to collapse and resulting in multiple casualties.
Reports suggest the list comprises of — Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Sea Bridge in Kuwait, King Fahd Causeway linking Saudi Arabia to Bahrain, Sheikh Zayed Bridge and Sheikh Khalifa Bridge in the United Arab Emirates, along with King Hussein Bridge, Damia Bridge, and Abdoun Bridge in Jordan.
