Iran mocked Donald Trump’s claim of "winning" the conflict with a Lego-style video shared by its Ghana embassy, sparking mixed reactions and meme wars online

Tensions between Iran and the United States have taken a lighter turn online, with both sides using humour and memes to make their point. One such post has now caught people’s attention for the way it mocks a major political claim.
The post takes aim at US President Donald Trump, who has said that the United States has won the ongoing conflict. Iran responded with a satirical take that many users found amusing.
Iran Takes Dig At Trump’s Claim
The Iranian Embassy in Ghana shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) reacting to Trump’s statement. In the message, they wrote, “He must be dreaming that he defeated Iran. Leave him sleeping."
Along with the text, they shared a short video made in a Lego-style format. The clip shows Trump asleep, while people around him, shown as White House officials, are standing nearby.
In the video, one of the officials says, “Let’s wake him up," while another replies, “We can’t do that because the President is thinking of winning Iran in his dreams." The video presents the situation humorously, suggesting that the claim is not real.
Social Media Users Share Mixed Reactions
The post led to many reactions online, with people sharing different views on the video and the message.
“You guys don’t actually understand how the United States works. You’re not actually at war with President Trump; he’s just a tiny part of it that happens to be loud and obnoxious. Making cartoons and hoping for a miracle sea change is not going to be a winning strategy," a user said.
“Poor Trump," another added. A person commented, “You are wrong. Trump is not sleeping. Rather, he is very busy in firing everyone."
Some users joined in with jokes. “Finally, the Lego movie comes… The title: the lying King sleeping," an individual wrote.
Others criticised the post, while many simply reacted with humour and memes, adding to the discussion around the video.
The conflict between the two countries started on February 28 this year with joint strikes by the US and Israel on Iran. Since then, attacks involving missiles and drones have been reported in different parts of the Middle East.
This is not the first time Iran has used humour to respond. Earlier this month, it also reacted to Trump’s warning about reopening the Strait of Hormuz by joking that they had “lost the keys" to it.
