Iran-US War Live Updates: US President Donald Trump has made a series of fresh claims about Washington’s military operations against Iran, saying American forces repeatedly destroyed Iranian radar systems and protected global oil supplies by escorting commercial tankers through the Strait of Hormuz.

Speaking to CNBC, Trump said, “We blew up Iran’s radar; they had no radar, they still don’t. We blew it up again the other night… They have to start all over again for a third time.”

He also claimed, “We have all the assets,” when asked whether the US was prepared for further military action, adding that the US Navy had created “a wall of steel” to ensure commercial shipping could pass safely through the strategic waterway.

Meanwhile, Iranian state media reported that the coffin carrying former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was taken to the site where he was killed in an unannounced ceremony. According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), the public farewell for Khamenei is scheduled to be held in Tehran on July 4 and 5, with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) expecting millions of mourners to attend.
