PM Modi in West Bengal vows to expand Blue Revolution, accuses TMC of giving jobs to illegal migrants, opposing women reservation, and promises welfare under a BJP government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday vowed to expand the Blue Revolution In West Bengal while pointing out that the migrants are coming to the state to cast their vote to get back their jobs that were given to the illegal migrants by the TMC government.

“West Bengal has been blessed by nature with so many rivers, such a vast coastline, yet this wealth is currently under the control of the TMC’s syndicate. The double-engine government will expand the Blue Revolution in Bengal," says PM Modi during a rally in Medinipur.

He also attacked Mamata Banerjee-led government and said they were giving jobs to illegal migrants instead of the residents on Bengal.

“Bengal sisters are coming from cities like Delhi and Mumbai to cast their votes. The work that they should have got in Bengal they had to leave home, old parents and friends as their jobs were given to the illegal migrants by the TMC," he said.

He also mounted a strong attack on the Trinamool Congress while addressing a rally in Jhargram, accusing the party of opposing women’s reservation and failing to address key issues in West Bengal.

Referring to the debate on women’s reservation, PM Modi said, “The BJP tried to ensure that women start benefiting from reservations from 2029. But the anti-women TMC opposed it in Parliament." He further alleged, “The TMC resorted to every kind of deceit and trickery so that Bengal’s 33 percent women could not become MLAs and MPs. Now, Bengal’s women must punish the TMC for this sin."

Addressing a rally in Bankura, PM Modi said the gathering of thousands of people symbolised the public anger against the “ruthless" TMC government and growing support for the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) entry in Bengal.

Prime Minister Modi alleged that women in West Bengal are unable to get the benefits they get in BJP-ruled states due to the corruption in the TMC government, and promised that the BJP government in West Bengal would provide free rations, financial assistance to build homes and medical treatment.
