West Bengal Election 2026: Trinamool Congress (TMC) supporters and BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari came face to face outside a polling booth in Bhabanipur, while the polling was underway for the second phase of the 2026 West Bengal election.

The BJP leader called TMC supporters “outsiders" and “Bangladeshi Muslims". He also raised “Jai Shri Ram" and “Hindu Hindu bhai bhai" slogans in response to their sloganeering.
“They are all Bangladeshi Muslims…They are scared. Mamata will be wiped out," he said.
The CRPF and police also resorted to mild lathi-charge to disperse the crowd from the booth in south Kolkata.
