Chasing 324, India’s reply began with Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill at the crease. Gill laid a solid foundation with a fluent 91, but after his dismissal, the innings required someone to carry the charge forward. Rishabh Pant rose to the occasion, maintaining the tempo with his quick scoring and keeping India in the hunt.Langer, who was back then head coach of the Australian cricket team, described Pant as "fearless" for his heroics in the fourth Test and said it "reminded me of Ben Stokes' innings at Headingley in Ashes 2019."“It was an amazing effort. (Rishabh) Pant’s innings somewhat reminded me of Ben Stokes’ innings in Headingley actually. He came in, he was almost fearless and he will be lauded because of it. It was an unbelievable innings,” Langer had said after the match.Langer is currently the coach of the IPL team Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), whose captain is Rishabh Pant.
