Kadapa to host tribute concert to honour S.P. Balasubrahmanyam on June 28

Kadapa city is gearing up to mark the 80th birth anniversary of noted film playback singer Padma Vibhushan S.P. Balasubrahmanyam at the BC Board auditorium (Old RIMS) on June 28, 2026 (Sunday). The day-long orchestra event will be conducted under the joint aegis of Kala Samrat founder M. Ramakrishna and Padma Priya organizer Chandra Reddy. The event will witness seasoned and upcoming musicians rendering his popular songs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Economically deprived musicians will receive financial assistance at the event, a press release said.
