Karnataka registered a record pass percentage of 84.48% in the 2nd PUC examination-1, according to the results that were announced by School Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa on April 9, 2026.

Girls outshone boys this year as well, even as the overall exam-1 pass percentage increased by 13.03% in 2026 compared to 2025 (73.45%).
